Santa Came!

Drew must have heard santa on the roof this Christmas morning cause he was wide awake at 5am!! We had a great first Christmas with Drew. He LOVES our cell phones, so in his stocking was a baby cell phone that lights up, we can record our voices on it, and hopefully keep ours now baby slober free!! He was all tuckered out at the end of the day and took two naps today both over two hours!!!

It's so true with all the toys around Drew paper was right up there with his favorite toy! He loved how the paper would get stuck to his hands with the tape!!

And what a mess we had to clean up.....

This past weekend we took a trip up to San Fransisco and met Andy's brother Aaron and his fiance Christa there! We had a great time with lot's of good laughs:)

Andy and Aaron have been competetive their entire lives believe it or not! We went on a really nice long walk on trails around the bay and every so often their would be an area where one could work out. The boyz took advatage of these areas to compete against one another!!! Christa and I had a great time watching them yell at each other that the other one was cheating!!

and another area where the boyzzzz had a chance to compete.... Aaron said his his neck was sore, so it hurt his time....

Alicia Geiger (my sisters mother-in-law) sent Drew a Christmas gift yesterday and Drew was so excited not only for the wrapping paper, but the gift inside!!

Burley

This past weekend we got a Burley! Drew wasn't to sure what to think of his new set of wheels...

Yap....Drew likes his new ride!

Daddy looked back at Drew the entire ride to make sure he was ok! I think we need to invest in a mirror for the bike!!

Our Cute Little Girl....

So my girlfriends were over and Andy was at work...... yap this is Drew as a girl! I always wondered what a olsen girl would look like:) Daddy came home and ripped the clothes of him SO fast and said that they were going hunting!!!

San Diego

This past weekend we went to visit friends in San Diego and had a great time! We stayed at Case De Jenna's. Jenna has a four month old, Chase. It was so cute to see our two little men together! We tried to have them sleep in the same bed... it didn't work out to well as they thought it was a big sleep over!!

Drew's friend Chase gave Drew this cool frog bib. Drew thought it was hilarious wearing a bib that looked like a frog!

WOW!!!

And so it begins... Drew discovered to tip his baskets of toys over and take them all out! Now to figure out how to teach him to put them all back in????

Drew on all fours!

We now have our Christmas tree up in our house and this has given Drew to get to all fours!!! He's rocking now on all fours, so were keeping our fingers crossed till Jan 1st!!! I think it's the blinking lights....

Hawaii

November 11th we left for Molokai, Hawaii for a week vacation with Alicia's parents and her brother Brian. We had a great time relaxing with a lof of good laughs! And of course... the typical Kerr family photo with no one paying attention!! (stray dog...)

This is a picture of the houses that we stayed in. The one on the right in the main house, my parents sleeping quarters is to the left, and ours was behind the main house!

Coconuts were everywhere! The boys had a lot of fun cutting them open and drinking the juice out of them. The coconut's made great mixed drink cups!

Drew loved the water and would kick and splash like a wild man!

Oregon

For Thanksgivng we spent a week in Eugene, Oregon. Andy's parents, brother Aric, and uncle Rob all came from MN. It was a fun week with constent entertainment! Here we are at a winery.

Drew joined in our poker game and tried his hardest to get the poker chips in his mouth!

Thanksgiving day we put the turkey in the oven and then did a hike. It was 45*out and beautiful.

We had a great time taking advantage of the great climbing in Oregon

Solvang

This past weekend we took a day trip to a really cute town a little over an hour away called Solvang. It's a dutch community with a lot of really cute shops and good food! Fifteen miles from there is beautiful wineries. Many of the wineries were in the movie Sideways! We had a great time and it was 90'!!!!!!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great first Halloween with Drew! We carved pumpkins in the afternoon and then put Drew in his costume for a few photo's until he started to chew on it.... Andy being the engineer that he is outlined a pirate ship and carved a pumpkin. Mean while while he was working on his one, I managed to get two done! Yes, I only did a crazy face for one pumpkin and stars on the second! We went through SEVEN bags of candy for the trick or treater's! It's a madhouse with all the kids on base! I was in charge of handing out the candy and Andy and Drew would come to the door with me. It was really cute, their was a handful of five year old's at the door and one of them goes, "Wow I really like your baby!!!" It was cute:)

Drew decided that the velcro in his kangaroo outfit felt good to chew on, so we had to change outfits as it was scratching his face!! Aunt Allison gave Drew this Halloween outfit and he loved it!

Ojai

This past weekend we took at trip to a cute mountain town about 30min away called Ojai. It's one of our favorite places and we even say that we can see ourselves settling down their when the time comes! We enjoyed some great hikes and Drew's favorite part was the fountain outside a restaurant!

Pool Time!

Yesterday we took Drew to the Y for his first time in the pool! He loved it and was kicking and splashing!!! We have a future swimmer on our hands....

California Fires

As many of you have seen on the news were having a few small fires out here! We are not in danger. The nearest one to us is in Malibu, about 35 miles away. Outside though we can tell the difference in air quality and have been told to keep all doors and windows closed. The first few days we had ash blowing in through our windows and on our windowsills and on our floors. Needless to say I've been a mad women with swiffering the floors:)

The Ocean!

This past weekend we took our first family vacation and went to San Diego to visit friends. Their Drew saw the ocean for the first time and was in ahh! Daddy told Drew all about surfing and cool surf tricks!

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we picked Andy's brother (identical twin!) and his fiance Christa up from the airport for the weekend! We had a great time! Sunday we took a trip to the pumpkin farm! This pumpkin farm had everything from a 10ft sunflower maze, petting zoo, hay rack rides, food, and all the pumpkins one could ever dream of! It was neat to see Drew's expression on all the fun excitement!
