Aunt Ali Comes To Town
On Friday my sister Allison came to visit us on a solo mommy and husband trip for a few days. Even though she was away from her children she didn't get to much of a break, as Drew was in LOVE with her and followed her EVERYWHERE! I'm not sure if she was even able to take a shower with out him talking to her at the door or playing his toy guitar for her at the door! It was so much fun having her here and having us three siblings together (our younger brother is also stationed here). Allison is such a breath of fresh air and lightens up every room she walks into. Ugh, I'm going to miss her with our move!!!
On Sunday Allison was able to meet the awesome group of friends that I have here at a baby shower for Claire hosted by my friend Moira. It was such a cute party with a tea party theme.
Beach Day
Another nice day and took advantage of it at the beach. We took out the beach tent that we used for Drew when he was a baby and it worked perfect for Claire. She took an awesome nap in the tent and had zero rays on her, so it was perfect!
It's so funny how we take toys to the beach and as soon as we get their it's the adults that dig through the bag and start playing. Andy went straight for the shovel and started digging...
Oyster Bar
On Monday night we out to an oyster bar right on the water and enjoyed our last night together with the Kerr siblings for a while (as were moving to Spain for three years). We enjoyed a lot of good laughs and reminisced.

So we picked a few appetizers off of the menu and Allison chose oysters. We asked the waitress if they were fresh from the ocean and she said, "No, the river..." the river???? Right then I should have known not to try them as they tasted like a bottom of a dirty boat, that had been in a river!!! Allison added a lot of salt to the 10 she ate (it came with 12...) and said they were great!! (Maybe the alcohol was involved in her tastes buds)?

Enjoying a day at the beach over the weekend. Drew loved getting his hands all dirty and then running into the water to wash them off. Needless to say he left in only a diaper, because of wet clothes!

So this cracks me up.... over the weekend we went to a minor league baseball game here. At the end there were fireworks and we were handed out special glasses to wear for them. We were really excited as Drew had never seen fireworks and he was a champ and lasted till 10pm!!! The photo below shows Andy's facial expression and it appears that he's also never seen fireworks before!!!
