Gymboree

Drew started a few weeks ago a class two days a week. On one day it's gym class and the other day he's in a music class! Many of you may know of the clothing store Gymboree and this is a baby/toddler program that they offer. It's a structured class and teaches the children motor and development skills. Drew really enjoys it and always takes a nice nap afterwards!!!
The children have maracas and music is playing during the song it will say "Freeze" and everyone has to stop! It's pretty cute;)

Um.. daddy I think your to big for this....

Paying CLOSE attention to the next directions!!

Iowa Visit!

Last week Drew and I left for a week back home for my college friend, Megan's wedding. We were able to spend a week with my parents (which Drew loved being around papa and mimi)! Thursday my friend Laura flew in and Friday we hit the road to Cedar Rapids for the rehearsal and wedding the next day. The wedding was beautiful and it was SO great to see my college friends!!

You can't beat IoWa sweet corn!!!

Drew loved the water hose that papa and mimi bought!!

Happy 4th of July!

On Thursday we left for Maryland to visit our friends who were stationed with us in Iceland! It was so great to see them and recollect from all the great times! We had a blast and Drew loved having a buddy their his age!!!

Kicked the 4th off with some bloody marys!

OK so we aren't really gamers.. BUT the game guitar hero ROCKS!!! We had a lot of fun playing and as for me trying to play;)

Kevin being Kevin........
On the 4th we went to a park where you could bring a picnic and their was a live band followed with fire works! The boyzzzzz loved all the people and the large area to play trucks!
Drew and Aiden chilled in the wagon for the first few minutes to scope out all that they could get in to...
Um yah.... take note of all the umbrellas... it started storming (yap lightning thunder the whole works...) we had to high tail it to our car!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I took Drew to his one year check up (yes it was late due to moving and the good old military and waiting to get an assigned doc)!!
Drew is now 25 pounds exactly and is in his 90% for height!! A few of his favorites at the ripe old age of one are.... pasta, anything with beef in it (Midwest blood in him!), steamed veggies, loves to suck/chew on apples, running through grass, DiRt and puddles, swinging, swimming, and books!
Next week he'll be 14 months and is saying more and more everyday!! Right now he can say ball, da dad, mom (yap mom not ma ma;) hi, and bye. When we ask him what a doggy does he will pant like one!!!!
