Birthday Bash

Last night we had Drew and Claire's birthday party out in town in Rota.  Rota has an awesome indoor play area that is huge and the kiddos can run wild!  The area is fenced in and the parents can see the kiddos however, aren't allowed in as the Spanish workers watch and play with them.  I mean how can we complain about this!!!  SOOOOO I was busy talking and having fun as well and this reflected my lack of photos and only cake time!!!  We all had a great time and it's crazy to think that Claire will be three in May and Drew will be five!!!

We had so much fun the kiddos AND the adults as you can tell by the LACK OF photos that I took!!!  Drew and Claire even slept in past 8am they were so tired from their night of fun!

Boy Bonding Day!

Last weekend Andy and eight of his amigos went out for an all day fishing trip in the bay of Cadiz.  They had a cooler packed with drinks and were ready to bring dinner home for the families!

Our poor neighbor was a little sea sick during the ENTIRE fishing trip!!!

So they ended up catching NOTHING all day!!  The wives think it was really just a whale watching trip and they didn't want to admit to it.  We never once saw a fishing pole in ANYONE'S hand!!

No More Training Wheels In This House!!

A few weeks ago Claire was finished with her training wheels!!  We are so proud of her!!  She has now caught up with Drew on the bike.....!!!

Field Trip

Last week I jumped on the school bug with Drew and we headed to a farm!  The farm was full of every animal one could think of and it reminded me of the good old Midwest!!  Drew's class had a blast watching all of the animals and seeing baby goats eating with a bottle:)

Not sure if they were amazed with the pigs or all of the mud??

I couldn't ask for a better class for Drew.  All of the kiddos get along so well and have such a fun friendship.  The boyzzz couldn't be anymore boyzz and had their air guitar's out!

Budapest, Hungry

The other week we took a week long vacation to Budapest, Hungry.  We had such a great time and a RELAXING vacation!!!  We rented an apartment which was great and really comfortable for the children. 

On one of the days we took a train to Vienna, Austria and spent the day there.  The rest of the week we spent in Hungry. 

The town was full of SO much to do!!  One of the things that we loved was the Spring Festival which was occurring.  The festival was a lot like the Christmas Markets only happening in the Spring!!!! 

On the way home it was a little sad as Hungry was our last flying trip before we move:(  We are going out big though with our last trip to Portugal with seven other families!!!!  So it turned my frown upside down on the flight home!!!

Budapest is actually divided up into two sections.  Buda in one are and Pest in another area, what separates the two is the Danube River.  It's really neat how there is an island in the middle of the Danube River turned into a HUGE park!  We spent an entire day there.  I had over thirty photos just from the park, it was AMAZING!

The park had play grounds through out it, Andy enjoyed them just as much as Drew:)

On Easter we went to another town an hour away.  The town was lined with shops everywhere, HEAVEN!!!  And of course had wonderful trails and was along the Danube River.

One of the nights we took a dinner cruise down the Danube river.  The kiddos did AMAZING and had so much fun. There was live music and dancing, heaven for a two and four year old!!
