One Last Photo!

Daddy and I had one last photo together before he traveled over night in the mail to Eugene, Oregon to be in a wedding! Daddy has four really close friends and they've all been groomsmen in each other's wedding. Since he had to be away for this wedding they requested that card board Andy represent and be in all the photo's! So stay tuned for those photo's on the blog I can only imagine what those will be like.......:)

Drew Laughing!

The other day I had a alligator out and Drew thought it was the funniest thing that he had ever seen!!! It makes me laugh hearing him laugh!!

Megan Comes To Town!

On Saturday evening, my friend Megan from college came to visit Drew and I. Megan is a close friend of Andy's and I and she was the one that packed up her car and moved out to Cali with me a few years ago!

A few weeks ago she just got engaged and now lives in Cedar Rapids with her fiance. It was a lot of fun to see her and Drew stayed up an EXTRA 15 minutes past bed time to chill with us on the porch!

Our New Walks!

About half way through our walks I end up picking up Drew cause he thinks that he needs to be carried! Well this mom finally became smart and started to use the baby bijorn for walks and Drew thinks is great that he's being "carried" during the entire walk!!!

Mr. Blanket

Drew hasn't been attached to anything until now... Mr. Wayne. Grandma picked the name out after her dad since his favorite color was green! Drew loves Wayne and I usually find his head soaked from finding Drew's mouth!!! I think I will have to buy a few Wayne's just in case we loose one!!

This is what Drew thought when I was telling him that he's going to be sleeping in his OWN bed when we get back to California!! AND I did not put his finger like this!!!!

Fun In Knoxville

On Saturday we went to a family reunion in Knoxville. It was fun to see all my cousins and there little one's! Drew sat in a swing for the first time and LOVED it!!

Drew did not want to leave his second cousins!! He was so entertained and LOVED all the attention!

Amazing Daddy

Daddy called today and it was a CrAzY household! I could hardly talk, due to a cold (who gets a cold in Iowa in AUGUST!) Drew was ScReAmInG, and the dog was barking!! Needless to say the conversation lasted about two minutes. A few hours later this beautiful arrangement of flowers from daddy arrived!!!

Larry's Wedding

Saturday night I went to my friends Larry and Becky's wedding in Waverly Iowa.

The Gang

It was so much fun to see my college gang at the wedding. Many of them I hadn't seen since graduation four years ago!! It was a great time with many laughs!!

A Day With Friends

Drew and Aiden spend 99% of their time together in individual strollers every morning while we go on walks! Today my friend Emily who has a son who's two months older and I had a play date with them, outside form their strollers!! The boys thought it was great to see someone there size!!! It was really cute seeing them look at each other and smile!

Emily's boy Aiden, Alyssa's boy Isaac, and Drew all posed for a quick picture! It was a lot of fun to see Alyssa and her son!

After his BIG day with all of his friends, Drew fell right asleep in the middle of the floor with kids all around him!

Thanks Laura for this sweet shirt! It totally reminds me of a shirt my daddy would wear and fits me perfect!!! I'll be sure to wear this for our BIG weekend in San Diego!!!

CrAzY!

Drew loves his bouncy seat and goes WiLd in it!!! He kicks so hard that he gets the bouncy seat rocking good!!

Happy First Anniversary!

For our first year anniversary with Andy being away my parents thought it would be fun to surprise me with some of our closest friends who were involved in the wedding to come over! My parents ended up telling me (they thought that would be best so I wouldn't cry)! We had a great time visiting and talking about the BIG day a year ago and how much fun we had!!

Andy called today and that was great to hear from him!! He is doing great and looking at the calender a little to much he says!! He'll be home soon and we'll be able to celebrate our anniversary again in a few months:) (I guess the only positive is that we will celebrate all the holidays, birthday, and anniversaries missed when he returns)!!!!

Al, Melinda, Jake, and Vicky were our hostesses and guest book attendants at our wedding last year. It was fun to celebrate with them again a year later!

Drama King!

Drew has figured out how to indicate he's sad!! He's taking advantage of his lip, and one minute will have a HUGE smile on his face and then THINK that he's sad all of a sudden!! I think that he gets this from his father!

So Close!

Drew is getting so close to rolling over! When I lay him on his play mat he goes straight to his side! On tap on his back and he'd be on his tummy!! Stay tuned for the photo's when he finally makes the roll......

Nap Time?

Next week as Drew reaches the three month mark most babies are taking naps.... this is how I find Drew after fifteen minutes of nap time!!! Playing, kicking his legs and moving his arms like a mad man.... with no nap!! I think mommy caught him off guard with this surprise visit to check on him!!
