Day Out In Chicago

sat we lef and caught the train into the city. Drew loved sitting with uncle Brian and looking out the window. We purchased a trolley pass the enabled us to go on and off as much as we wanted and it was a double decker bus, so that made it extra fun! It had 12 main stops through out Chicago. Drew was excited to experience his first double decker bus (and yes he wanted to hang off the side...) and his first Farris Wheel!

Rain Forest Cafe

For dinner we all went o Rain Forest Cafe, there was a balloon artist there and Drew had a bumble bee made for him and Brian the big graduate had a beautiful swan made for him:)

And Were Home...

Drew was all tuckered out from his big C-Town trip! Elmo was on and this was the first time he just laid there and watched a few minutes!!!

The Drewster and mommy were trapped in the house today for NINE hours as the storm passed through. We just had high winds and lot's of rain. Luckily mommy knew this storm was coming so we had a lot of indoor activities planned. BUT as soon as it looked tolerable outside we put on the rain boots and headed out! Drew is obsessed with airplanes right now and screams in excitement when he see's one!

Aaron's and Christa's Wedding

The fam at rehearsal
Andy's identical twin brother Aaron got married to Christa (also from Alexandria their hometown) this past weekend in Christa's parents back yard. The reception was about a half hour away in a hall that also looked over a lake. Andy was the Best Man and I was also a Bridesmaid. Everything was perfect and beautiful
Andy during his Best Man speech:)
SOOOOO during Aaron and Christa's first dance to a song by David Gray half way through the music did like a scratching noise and the bride and all of us bridesmaids had a dance and lip routine to a song called Mercy. No one knew about this and we had the DJ in on our surprise and our pink flair hidden behind a the DJ's booth, it was a hit!!

The Bachelor Party

For Aaron's bachelor party, Andy was in charge of it as the Best Man. Having it be Labor Day weekend and 40+ lakes in their hometown a day out on the lake in the pontoon was only appropriate! Drew made sure that the cooler was packed nice and tight:)

They then continued on their festivities with some Top Gun volleyball! Their is a really nice resort where you can dock your boats and chill. It's also where the guys were privileged to meet up with us girls who were kicking it at the pool:)
