Weekend Fun

Last weekend Geigers were here for a weekend visit and the weekend before that I had Cade and Lucy here for the weekend! It's do much fun having kiddos the same age!

Lucy and Claire LOVE to play hair salon!! Give them a spray bottle and their set!

They were actually quite the helpers.. I started to vacuume and they begged to do it! How could I turn this down! 

While I had Cade and Lucy we had our overseas screening doctors appointment! It's a lengthy apt with physicals making sure everyone is in good health. I thought this was funny how the girls liked sitting!

When Allison and Jeremy were here we surprised the girls with a princess show at our convention center! We didn't tell the girls where we were going and had their dress up dresses packed in the trunk!

Labor Day Getaway!

Over Labor Day I flew out to visit my brother Brian and his fiancé Maria in Virginia Beach! With the kiddos in school and Andy's crazy busy work schedule I went solo for a few days!

We had a great long weekend together filled with restaurants, croquet tournament, and the beach blvd! 

Brian knows me well.. We took time to rent a four wheel bike down the beach blvd.. It was very entertaining!!

Can't wait for your wedding next June!

First Day of School

So.... I'm totally behind and am just going to fast forward to this past month!  

We started school here August 7th! So the kiddos already have a month down! Drew started the 2nd grade and Claire started Kindegarden! I hit the jack pot with the BEST teachers for both of them! Their loving it and have cute stories after school!

Birthday Party Fun!

The first weekend of May we had a combined Birthday party for Drew and Claire at an indoor jump house! The place is a blast, full of huge inflatables! 

Both Drew and Claire revived a make over. Claire of course chose a princess!

And Drew picked a soldier...

We had a great time and everyone was exhausted at the end! Success!!

Randomness This Spring...

In March we attended the Seabee Ball here in Gulfport at the Convention Center. As always we were bound to have a wonderful time!

Field Trip Day

Last week I went with Drew to the Institute for Marine Mammal Science. I was able to go and help out with his adorable class!

Learning about manuals they rescue on the Gulf Coast.

Digging for shark teeth! Once they found one in the sand they were able to keep it and identified what type of shark it came from.

Yay!! He found one!!

Easter Camping Weekend

Andy had Good Friday off so we decided to take advantage of the long weekend (kids were off of school as well) and went camping! A beautiful state park is just a little over an hour away. We loaded the car, rented a boat, and headed north into the wilderness!

Then it was time to set up camp! Claire really loves this part as she says it best.."it's like playing house!"

Brooke was exhausted from all the fresh air!

She woke right up when we took her fishing! We had no idea how she would do in a boat.. She LOVED it and couldn't have behaved better!

We caught a hand full of fish, however to small to keep! 

Then it was time to hit the nature trails.

Brooke took her first swim in water and did great! Claire insisted in swimming with her.. So we stripped her down to her undies... Which she loved!

We even woke up to find out the Easter bunny found our campsite!

We had a great and relaxing Easter!

Catch Up!

WOW!! I need to catch up on the last three months! Needless up say.. We've been busy! After Andy returned we took a much needed week long cruise to the Caribbean!! We had an amazing time full of fun, relaxation, and great family time.

The ship had so much to do!! We were usually torn on what to do as there was so much!

Andy REALLY enjoyed to relaxing ship time...

Ok.. Maybe I did too!

We coldly have asked for a better ship! This is what we walked onto after each port stop! They had music playing loud, people dancing, and nothing but smiles!

We took a two hour tube ride down a river in a jungle in Belize!

Andy and Drew went on a chartered boat trip and came home with dinner! The cost included a restaurant cooking the fish for us!

We had an amazing time and it was just what we needed.
