Mi Casa

So we're now 100% fully moved in!!! We love our house (it'a HUGE down size, we're talking three closets for the ENTIRE house) however the neighbors and backyard rock!! I thought that I took a picture of the living room and I forgot, so I will have to add that later! This is right when you walk in the door

This is the courtyard outside our front door

And the best part, the back yard that over looks the Atlantic Ocean. Their are only a few homes on base with their back yards facing the water, so were lucky!

Out On The Town

This past weekend a group of us all hit the town. We had our spanish baby sitter watch the kiddos and actully made it out till 2am!!! The hard part here is that nothing opend till at least 9pm. It was a great time and our house hold took siestas the next day!!

This is the famous Olivia's mommy, Heather who lives next door to us. Her husband Justin and Andy also get along great. What can we say though their from the midwest (Chicago) so they have to be awesome! They guys doing rock paper scissors over who get's the last FRIED cheese curd....

So this is funny to me.... Drew is obsessed with this stuffed animal tiger and this is a picture he took on our camera (as you can tell Andy was paying close attention on dad duty with while Drew played with our $500 camera....) I thought it was hilarious though as he lined the tiger perfect up with Andy to get them both in the photo!!

Drew one day walked into the toy room and saw the tiger sitting on top of the futon bed. He had never paid ANY attention to it before. Then that day he walked towards it and said, "hey" I then pretended to growl (such a nice mom). He then grabbed my leg and said "nice tiger, nice tiger" So Andy and I had fun with that for a few days and decided that we better make it a nice tiger. Tiger now sits with us at dinner and is one of the family!
This weekend we put together Claire bumbo. Drew also enjoys it and crawls in it and then yells for us as he get's stuck in it......

Mmmmm, Cereal

This past weekend we gave Claire rice cereal for the first time. I would have to say out of all of us Drew was the most excited!!! Claire did great with it. She's grasping the concept more everytime we feed her.

Meet Arnie

This past weekend we introduced Claire to her blankie, Arnie. And she LOVES him!!!! Drew at the same age as Claire was introduced to his blankie, Wayne. The names were chosen both from my grandpa and Andy's grandpa that have passed away. Drew own's four Wayne's incase one is in the wash, lost, or car. And their all just as worn out as the other one. Claire right now own's three Arnie's. I'm thinking that she will need about seven as she's a girl and if she's anything like her mommy! (yes, please notice her toes and our girly moment at home....)

Portugal

This past weekend we took a trip to Portugal. From where we are Portugal is just three hours away. We went with our neighbors and it was so relaxing. We don't have a lot of pictures as we "thought" we lost our camera the entire weekend! NOPE it was in our stroller.... So in Europe, they don't really have children's glasses. Nothing classier than sitting in a high chair and drinking out of a wine glass!!! (booster seats are REALLY hard to find)
From the hotel that we stayed at we jumped on a boat that took us to an island and dropped you off and then their were various times that you could take the boat back. It was one of the BEST beaches that we've ever been two. All that's there is a bar!!!! Who could ask for more!

The other famile has three children and Drew LOVES Ryan and Lilly!!!

Even Claire has a little buddy their daughter Anna!! (Claire wasn't to happy in this photo as she thinks this swim suit makes her look chubby)!!!!

Vamenous Valencia!

Over Labor Day weekend we jumped on a flight a flew north east to Valencia. The city was very lush and great arcitecture. Drew loved taking the public transportation arond
When we went out for seafood Drew's came with a lobster in it and the eyes were still in. At first he was all happy and thought it was cool. So we layed it on the table... then he noticed the eyes looking at him and we had to cover Mr. Lobster up with a napkin STAT!

And it NEVER rains in Spain.... YAP the weekend we were there it did!!

This was a park accross from our hotel with great paths. Inside the buildings were various museums and an aquarium.

Ms. Claire Bear did great in the stroller

Thumbs up, both kiddos sleeping in the stroller
